Lunch Delivery in Mabopane & Soshanguve: How to Beat the Lunchtime Rush
Lunchtime is the busiest part of the day for our kitchen and for Spaceman Deliveries, Phala's own delivery service. If you're working in Mabopane or Soshanguve and want a hot plate of pap and meat at your desk, here's how to get it without the wait.

Order before the rush
Our kitchen opens at 08:30, so there's no need to wait until you're starving. Ordering a little before the lunchtime peak gives the kitchen and your driver more time, and gets your food to you sooner. Order on the menu page or call 072 332 9351.
Order together and share the delivery fee
The delivery fee is charged once per order, not per plate, so a group order from the office works out cheaper per person.

Good lunch plates
- R60 plates with pap: mala mogodu, marapo, tlhakhwana, nama tlhogo and hardbody chicken.
- For a bigger appetite: oxtail, beestong or eisbein (R150), or a 2 Mixed Meat plate (R155).
- Still hungry? Add extra meat and pap.
Tips for workplace deliveries
- Give the full address: the business or building name, your block or extension, and a landmark.
- Mention the gate or reception when you order, so the driver knows where to go.
- Keep your phone on so the driver can call when they arrive.
- Choose one person to receive the order and, if you're paying cash on delivery, have the right change ready.
