Video: Spaceman Picks Up an Order at Phala's Kitchen, Mabopane

This clip from Spaceman Deliveries follows a pickup at Phala's Kitchen in Block S, Mabopane: past the cars parked outside, inside to collect the order at the counter, and back out under our sign. It's what happens behind the scenes every time you order delivery from Phala's.

"Re tsware ka call"

The video ends on our sign with the words "Re tsware ka call", which loosely means "get hold of us with a call", and the line "Let us fill the space between you and your next African cuisine meal." That's the whole idea: you call or order online, we cook, and Spaceman brings it to you.

What happens when you order

1. Your order comes in through this website or on 072 332 9351.
2. We dish up hot from the pot and pack your food.
3. A Spaceman driver collects it from our counter in Block S, just like in the video.
4. It's delivered to your door in Mabopane (R40) or Soshanguve (R50). The fee is charged once per order, not per plate.

Help your driver find you

• Add a landmark to your address, such as a nearby school, church, tuck shop or taxi stop.
• Include your block, extension or unit as well as your house or stand number.
• Keep your phone on and close by in case the driver needs directions.
• Have the right change ready if you're paying cash on delivery.
